PSB Ventures events are designed for travelers age 50 and over.
We will be following CDC guidelines.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 19: MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET: CHRISTMAS

Home for the holidays, four newcomer musicians who were soon-to-be-legends stopped by their famous Sun Records recording studio the same wintry night– Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Elvis Presley! Million Dollar Quartet: Christmas brings that momentous homecoming to life with an electrifying tale of family, nostalgia, faith, humor, heartbreak, and revelry. This show is jam packed with unforgettable performances of classic holiday hits and favorite chart toppers such as “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” “Don’t Be Cruel,” “Blue Christmas,” “Santa Claus is Comin”’ to Town,” “Ring of Fire,” “Santa Baby,” “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” “Run Run Rudolph” and more. This trip with Ventures will help boost your holiday spirit with your family, friends, and neighbors at this matinee performance at Gallagher Bluedorn in Cedar Falls– you’ll be dropped off and picked up at the door, forget about traffic and parking as you ride in a luxurious motor coach, and enjoy a delicious supper together. All this for $130 per person if you have an account at Peoples Savings Bank. Everyone else is welcome with an additional $5 convenience fee. SEPTEMBER 12-17: NASHVILLE, COME LISTEN TO THE MUSIC.

Our own comfortable chartered luxury bus will take our PSB group to Nashville, Music City. Our first night is just south of Paducah/north of the Kentucky Dam, a beautiful historic area where we’ll enjoy a reconstructed 1880’s village. Then we enjoy three Music Days and nights in Nashville before we return home through scenic southern Illinois. Experiences include two shows at the Grand Ole Opry House, visits to both Ryman Auditorium and the Palace Theater, a guided Nashville tour, a meeting with Johnny Cash’s sister, a winery tour and tasting, a guided tour of Sumner County homes of stars, exploring the Country Music Hall of Fame, cruising on the General Jackson, and the Belle Meade Historic Site. Thirteen meals, five nights lodging, all admissions, taxes and meal tips are included in your fee of $1395 per person double or $1345 for PSB members.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15: THE WILD WOMEN OF WINEDALE, MATINEE, DUBUQUE.

The Wild sisters are at a crossroads. One is turning 60, one’s stress has driven her to vodka and speed-knitting, and another is trying to land a new man with a house. Buffet at our favorite Balltown restaurant (Breitbach’s) with a short walk to a scenic overlook, fall leaves, and a fun show are included with our luxury motor coach, taxes, and tips. $135 per person or $130 if you have an account with Peoples Savings our tickets are taken for this hilarious play in one of Iowa’s spectacular scenic areas AND a wonderful meal at James-Beard-Award-Winning Breitbach’s restaurant. NOVEMBER 29-DECEMBER 2: BRANSON AT CHRISTMASTIME.

SO much fun. Our Shows: The Texas Tenors, Christmas show and lunch on the Branson Belle Showboat, “Miracle of Christmas” at the Sight and Sound Theatre, the Hughes Bros Star Dinner Show, Hits of the 60s, and The Haygoods Christmas show. Tours with step-on guides: College of the Ozarks, The Branson area. Visit to The Butterfly Palace. Four breakfasts, three lunches, four dinners are included with the seven great shows, three extra fun experiences, lodging, luxury motor coach, taxes and tips. $925 per person double or $875 if you have an account with Peoples Savings Bank. Ventures” is the travel and events program of Peoples Savings Bank. Each month customers and friends of the bank are offered activities that include informational meetings, concerts, day bus trips, overnight tours, and extended trips. Past events have included a lesson on Iowa History, day trips to Pella and Decorah, Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center and a trip to Alaska. The goal of “Ventures” is to provide a wide variety of interesting and enriching experiences in all price ranges to customers.
